VAB's Content Management System (CMS) Tutorial

This tutorial is intended to provide a fast start for anyone wishing to start working with VAB's proprietary CMS. This tutorial is broken down into steps associated with how to use the software. It is recommended that you view all videos contained in this tutorial to fully understand all that is available with VAB's CMS.

This section describes what is needed in getting your website ready to build. Write you your copy and get your images ready for down load.

Getting Started

Shows how to enroll in a VAB's CMS.

Step One: Website Contact and Information Set-up

Please click on Site Settings Tab and impute your name, address, phone number, fax and other business information for your website.

Step Two: Adding Content and Editing Pages

Adding content click edit on page you wish to build. Start with existing home page. This section shows how to implement SEO elements for your site, name pages, create navigation and stylize your content of your site. Show each of 5 pages for a five page site.

Step Three: Uploading Images

Please click on the File and Images Tab and start uploading images stored on your computer, and then upload to your new website.

 

Step Four: Inserting a Google Map

Insert a Google Map on any page of your website.

 

Step Five: Adding Links and Tables

Insert website links, tables or pricing information into your site.

Step Six: Cut and Past Links

Cut and pastes links into your website.

Step Seven: Managing Email Leads

Please click on the Leads Tab and you can look at all the emails coming into your website.

Step Eight: Order Your Domain Name

Please click on the Domain Tab and order your domain name for your website. One domain name is included with any CMS. You must be a paying customer to take advantage of this service.

Step Nine: Establish Email Accounts Under Your Domain Name

Please click on the Email Tab and establish email account for yourself, employees, family and friends.

Step Ten: Update Billing Information

Please click on the Billing Tab to update billing information, change credit cards and upgrade from a free trial to a paying customer.

Step Eleven: Upgrade and Purchase Additional Services

Please click on the Add-On Tab and upgrade your basic website to a customized website, have VAB write your copy for your website and provide search engine optimization for you website. Also order all other products and services VAB has to offer.

 

Step Twelve: Review CMS Components

Review CMS components for your new website.
