I am very impressed with their service. I was in and out in no time and I was greeted at the front counter by one of their therapy pups Boomer (I think)

I am writing a review to highly recommend this urgent care and to recognize PA Elliot Stokes with a genuine and full hearted thank you for helping me this weekend during a simple office visit. He took the "extra steps" to see what was wrong. His bed side manner and explanation of his plan to figure out the pain in my abdomen was incredible. When he saw that all of my blood work was normal, he could have easily sent me on my way knowing everything was in normal limits, however, he decided to see what my white blood count was. He took that "extra step" ---that little extra time and due diligence that saved me from having a ruptured appendix. When he saw how high it was he came into the room and calmly advised me that I should go to the nearest Emergency room to get a CT Scan of my abdomen. Thank you Physician Assistant Stokes--because the ER doctor called in a surgeon and ended up removing my appendix that same evening, just hours after I saw you. They did not wait until the next day. I have been telling everyone at the hospital about how you care for your patients and that even though I didn't look or act like a "typical sick patient"---you listened to me. I remember I was kind of questioning my pain and wondering what it could be and even minimizing it---but you took everything I said seriously. You made sure that you had done everything you could to get me the help I needed. I am home recovering and I am so humbled by how Physician Assistant Stokes saved me from experiencing a ruptured appendix. I am so thankful for this doctor and his care and expertise. Any patient that gets to receive care from him is truly blessed. I am so blessed that he was my P.A. this past Saturday. Thank you Gwinnett Urgent Care for having a wonderful staff of top notch P.A's and nurses to help the local community.

Everyone is so nice. Very well aware of what you’re going through, and what you need. Very patient. Very kind. An overall great atmosphere to be in for any treatment you need done. Thank you to the team that works so hard here, you’re all doing an amazing job.

I had to go to Gwinnett Urgent Care on 10-12-21 due to not being able to get an appointment with my PCP. I was seen by Dr. Dixon and he was amazing. He took the time to address my issues and was easy to talk to. He gave great care in making sure I would be okay. Felt he had my back……which we all want from a physician. I will definitely be coming here for my future medical needs. I already had to come back for another incident regarding an insect bite and saw Larissa, the P.A.. on Saturday, 10-30-21. The entire staff at Gwinnett Urgent Care are wonderful from the front office to the back office. Friendly and seem to care. Anytime I have had to call they were prompt in getting answers for me or sending records if needed. No hassle. Also cheaper than I expected for being an urgent care and cheaper than my primary care physician…..even my X-rays and EKG were included in the office visit - no additional fees! Highly recommend Gwinnett Urgent Care! They are available on weekends which is nice and longer hours during the week. The wait time was really none for me when I came. I was able to get in quickly…. be treated and be on my way……which was great! So go check them out especially if you do not have a primary care physician or have an emergency.
